Rise above disruption is a self-help book about finding your Zen. The author tells his story and lets you know personal and honest things about his life before providing insightful and thoughtful methods on how to be better.
The intentions behind writing the book were admirable. The author does not view himself as a writer but as someone who has gone through much trauma. His purpose in writing the book is to ease the pain and to learn about himself in the process.
What stands out in this book is how heartfelt, touching, and relatable the work is. You can easily connect with the author’s troubles and journey.
The book possesses methods that assisted the author. He attempts to help the reader by rising above disruptions and facing life as what it is. I particularly liked how the author asked us to dig deeper and find out what image I wish to maintain and portray as the version that is me.
I look forward to reading more from this author and recommend it to self-help readers.
