No way Back Today by Eric Shoars (Book Review #1002)

No way back today is a beautiful story written about Eric wanting to do something that has felt right for a long time. He decides to start his rock and roll band by gathering all his childhood friends before turning 50. Facing impossible odds, age issues, the story keeps you cheering on for the characters and sympathy towards the ordeals they face.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Eric’s personality was perfectly created for the storyline. I particularly enjoyed how Eric went searching for his friends. The added humour, dilemmas and dramas were exciting to read.

It is never too late to pursue a childhood dream, especially, in this case, if you are middle-aged and just feel like you’re never going to get another chance. At times you thought that the fictional story was almost like an autobiography, but it wasn’t.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read fictional – feel-good stories.
