Bad Medicine by Geoffrey M. Cooper (Book Review #1014)

Bad medicine is a medical thriller and begins with Brad Parker, a professor serving as an interim director for a research institute. Everything to him is routine until he finds himself dealing with patients dying mysteriously after a clinical trial.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Brad is not alone as Karen Richmond; an FBI agent works with him to determine what is going on. The book isn’t too long but is written very well. I always love medical thrillers because of all the education and information you get to learn alongside reading an exciting story.

The characters were skillfully created. I particularly enjoyed how Karen and Brad meshed together. Their personalities really worked well together. What really stood out for me was the twists and thought-provoking scenes. They startled me, and that made me want to read further.

I look forward to reading more from this author and recommend this book to those who like to read thrilling medical crime stories.
