Stardust Destinies I: Variate Facing by  Celinka Serre (Book Review #1042)

Stardust Destinies is a young adult fantasy story. The story begins with Niome. She is on a mission with four of her friends and family, journeying through dark lands to find the stolen Book of Enchantment. It is being held by an evil lord who isn’t easy to beat, and she learns a few things on the way that creates an enticing story to read.

The story is geared toward a younger age, and I found it enjoyable to read. Everything about the characters was intriguing. Niome and her relationship with her brother really stood out for me. Niome’s personality pulled the story together.

The pace of the story was steady, and the literature was written well. The dialogue between the characters was different, mainly when they spoke in their own native language.

I recommend this book to anyone who is a young adult reader and enjoys fantasy material.
