This milestone is a really big deal. The six years is great, but the real point is that each day of those six years got packed with reading, reviewing, and interviewing. You can imagine all the additional weekend reading jobs, with her sorting and judging which books and writers to deal with the next week. My question is, how did any time off — vacations, family emergencies, sick days — get wriggled into the schedule. A fabulous work ethic!
