Sin Eater by Amanda Denham (Book Review #1296)

Sin Eater is a Contemporary fantasy story filled with paranormal and urban elements. The story begins with Jayde Holloway and her ability to wipe out memories. For some, this could be a great power to have, but for her, it’s not. Especially when she accidentally removes her best friend, Jenny’s memory.

Jenny becomes the Sin Eater, where she takes away a person’s bad memory. There is a price for this, and as much as she becomes helpful, the lonely life is not all making her happy. Her boss does not add to her situation either.

While the story didn’t feel too long, it was compact. I found myself very intrigued throughout the dynamic of the plotline. I recommend this book to those who like original stories.
