Shadow House by A. R. Silverberry (Book Review #1307)

Shadow House is a young adult teen story filled with science fiction material keeping the young mind intrigued. The added romance and dystopian nature to the premise adds to the interesting dynamic of the story.

This is the first book of its series and begins with intense scenes and descriptive writing. The author manages to provide enough foundation and structure to base the remaining series. It also provides enough closure but leaves some for future additions.

I predominantly enjoyed the attention to detail that was given to the dynamic of the tale. The author also meshed the characters together in such a way that it was very suitable for the age of its audience.

I recommend this book to sci-fi fans and young readers.
