Navigators of Draconis by Jake Ashwell (Book Review #1345)

Navigators of Draconis is book one of the Draconian Sun series. It is a science fiction story filled with crime and mystery. There are multiple worlds filled with humanoid species called nephans and cymans and it discusses the power struggles that exist between the worlds and the species.

As this is book one, it provides enough foundation and storyline structure to give the reader an adequate storyline. The concept of the story is appealing. The ending provides enough closure keeping the reader satisfied but also leaves enough for the next book.

Grace truly pulls the story together. Her personality and all she encounters reflect onto the storyline, and as you enjoy the world-building, her character is created very well and is in sync with the dynamic of the tale. While I wasn’t a big fan of the book cover, I felt the content was way more exciting. I look forward to reading more from this author.
