Sticky Fingers: Confessions of a Marginally Repentant Shoplifter by Tom Bentley (Book Review #1399)

‘Sticky Fingers’ is a memoir written with much humours retelling of Tom navigating the 60s and shoplifting. The author begins revelations of confessions as he lets you into his life and what life has been like for him.

The literature is written well and keeps you wanting to read more. The witty wordings of things and his penmanship stood out for me. I could easily see him writing other works in fiction and storytelling.

While Tom is a complicated boy growing up, he is very relatable and understood. I believe this also represented how well he described things and his writing skills.

I recommend this book to non-fiction readers, memoir fans, and those who like to chuckle while reading.
