‘Women Who Were Warned’ is a short poetry book about womanhood and everything related to its pleasures, limits, feelings and embodiment. The work is in a contemporary style, and it is personal.
I predominately enjoyed how everything was put together and flowed. With poetry, you always expect feeling and an emotional connection. I was happy to see I was able to make that bond.
What I wasn’t a big fan of was the book cover. I thought it didn’t fully represent the content inside. With 29 poems, you are trusted to find favourites, and I appreciated all the work that had gone into making it.
If you are into reading subjective material, this book is for you.

All right. I’ll confess this is a great cover, and I’m not going to explain.
