Kaleidoscopic Shades – Within Black Eternity by David A. Neuman (Book Review #1479)

‘Kaleidoscopic Shades’ is a sci-fi, paranormal thriller story about Bob Triplow and how his childhood trauma has also managed to overcome Joshua, his son. The father and son duo begin when they abandon their home in California, travelling to the depths of darkness into a world where things are not always expected.

While I loved the connection and bond between Bob and Joshua, I also was amazed by the world-building and how everything was put together. The scenes, character-building, and the science fiction world were all adequately created.

The literature was intense. The fast pace kept the reader intrigued and wanting more. What predominately stood out for me was the attention given to detail and how the author dazzled every scene with depth.

I recommend this book to thriller fans and those who like father-and-son stories.
