Six Days in Detox by Dianne Corbeau (Book Review #1495)

‘Six Days in Detox’ is a beautifully written memoir about Dianne and her addiction struggles. The beauty of the work is divided and explains everything from the time she goes back to alcohol after being sober for 26 years.

What stands out in this book isn’t just about the author’s biography; it also discusses the mental health institutes and their importance to someone’s path to recovery. The medical situation and all the authoritative moves are good and provide useful points you learn as you read along.

I had not known much about the detox program, and it was very interesting to read how Dianne had to navigate the paths.

The literature is written well, and the honesty is refreshing. The author has clearly cared about ensuring everything is organized and presented well.

I recommend this book to those who struggle with addiction and enjoy biographies.
