Stalking Horse by George Pallas (Book Review #1581)

‘Stalking Horse’ is a mystery crime story about Greg, a normal guy who leads a very uneventful life until he faces a dilemma one morning. He finds Megan, his young co-worker, beaten to death and makes himself a promise to find out who has caused her this pain.

While Greg attempts to find the killer, he is confronted by the police, an ex-boyfriend, and many other triumphs that keep him on his toes, but his demeanor, personality, and charisma keep him going. I found him so driven and his character to be appealing.

As you read along, you also notice a certain dynamic and pace to the work that is well thought out and put together. This added to the pleasure of the reading.

The story is written well, and the author manages to keep the mystery and intrigue throughout the book. I found the novel to be enjoyable to read.

I recommend this tale to those who like mystery stories.
