The Wizard Clip Haunting: A True Early American Ghost Story by Stanley D. Williams (Book Review #1582)

‘The Wizard Clip Haunting’ is a historical fiction with many paranormal elements. Set in 1797, the premise is a well-researched and documented story based on Adam Livingston and his ability to have early childhood premonitions and predict tragedies. He is a flax farmer who avenges god after his wife dies by remarrying a godless woman. After he curses Livingstone, the story takes a turn, and you are introduced to a compelling story.

The story is perfect for Halloween and for those who like haunted stories. The concept is dramatic and filled with thrill. It is descriptive, and I appreciated the unexpected twists.

The literature is written well and displays conflict and friction very intriguingly. What stands out the most is the characters and their development. This induced a formation that enabled the reader to bond with the characters. It is delightfully drafted and carries you till the end.

I look forward to reading more from this author and recommend this book to those who enjoy fictional stories.
