Hyphenated Relations by Daniel Maunz (Book Review #1604)

‘Hyphenated Relations’ is a contemporary fiction story about Sam Daly and how she mourns the loss of her husband, Mike after his car crash. Her reluctant involvement with Harold, Mike’s father creates a dynamic tale and makes this story enjoyable to read.

Sam’s personality is hard to figure out at first. She is a deep thinker and her character is very relatable to those who understand her demeanour and behavior. I found is very appealing as it kept me intrigued.

The literature is written well and with this understanding, the steady flow ensured the reader continued the adventure till the end.

Sam’s personal growth through the story was admirable. She learns and progresses as she navigates through the troubles that come at her.

I recommend this book to those who like fictional stories with drama.
