Requiem, changing times, is a young adult novel written about Corbin and Clint. They are the best of friends and go to the same school. When Two strangers come into town from another world and bring aliens with them, things become a little chaotic. There is a race in reaching the Requiem first. Banks and O’Neil, two exceptional characters, add a delightful addition to the story, creating more drama, magic and laughter.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Someone is planting bombs at various locations, and when total strangers attack Clint and his friend, Clint realizes that for some reason, they are after him.

The book is filled with great urban fantasy material. Clint is coming of age and learning how to cope with the loss of his father and the new family he has. This journey not only makes him realize how important of a role he has but also allows him to understand the meaning and value of having a family.

The literature was filled with witty remarks, a funny dwarf, aliens, imps, ogres and more. The pace was steady and enjoyable to read. I admired how the cover was beautifully designed. The book is first of its series, and so I believe it left a good foundation for ongoing other storylines. Clint Holden is a strong protagonist and is able to bring a steady platform to work well together. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I would recommend this book to young adult fans.
