Perfect by D. D. Larsen (Book Review #793)

Perfect is a romantic crime story written about Seryna. She is a teenager going to high school. She is passionately involved with someone who is rich, powerful. There is one problem though, the FBI is suspicious of her family, and her boyfriend is part of the police team. This puts Serynain a predicament. She has to put her trust in one of them, and it is tough to decide.

This story sets the mood straight away from the beginning and allows you into Seryna’s heart, mind, and soul.  She has a sweet personality, and I admired the love she had for her family, her lover and even her friend Alex.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The literature was suspenseful and filled with secrets. I enjoyed the twists and turns that came with the thriller. The author has a good pen writing this style of storylines, and this being the first book of its series created a good foundation for continual books.

The content might suit more of an adult reader due to its romance and minor erotic scenes. I recommend it to anyone who likes to read a well-written story about crime and family values.
