THE INTERSTELLAR MISSION – THE EARTH DEFENCE LEAGUE by TSHEKEDI WALLACE (Book Review #846)

The interstellar mission is a sci-fi novel situated in space. It begins with Queen Kalandriak, who is an alien ruler over a race called the Xurakai. Kalandriak’s intentions are clear. She wants to dominate the universe. The more control she has over space and planets, the better. She isn’t alone and has help from Terilos, Decanderos, and she possesses excellent warships.

The UIIS, the universal institute of interstellar studies, and the Earth Defense League have a different plan. They, too, have to obtain support to overrule the Queen. Eva Rodriguez, the President of the earth Defense League, somehow has to make plans to go on a mission with General Scott, who doesn’t seem to even like her.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The mission is called New Horizon, and it is filled with action-adventure, fantasy fiction material. The story’s pace is fast and is filled with exciting characters to read and develop as you read along. They did lack a bit of background, and there appeared to be a broad set of characters implemented in the story. This didn’t sway the reader much away from the main point, but it was felt and wasn’t that necessary.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes space opera, action, and fantasy stories.
