Soaring Through Silent Skies by Brian Ehlers (Book Review #865)

Soaring through silent skies is a biography. It tells the story of a trailblazer who succeeds in becoming a successful athlete and coach in a world where against the odds, Brian is deaf.

The humble author takes us on a surprising and challenging journey, inspiring us to be better and aim for higher, telling us that we can still overcome our fear by just merely being resilient no matter what the circumstances.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

While Brian loses his hearing at three, he still dreamt of wanting to be a pilot or race motorcycles and even become a basketball star. Volleyball was his calling, and he became a very well-known volleyball player. His goal is clear, and that is helping others by writing this book.

The book entails useful content, making you laugh, be amazed, and inspired in many ways. The literature is friendly to read and represents the deaf culture pretty well. I enjoyed reading through the trials and tribulations. I admire the author’s wish to write this book and appreciated the honesty.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read uplifting material, biographies, and inspirational books.
