Connected to Me by Marc Kage (Book Review #924)

Connected to me is a paranormal fiction story about Aoi Kanemoto, a young Japanese woman who is smart, top of her class, and has anxiety. She meets a guy and falls in love. Christian Sterling is a gentle soul but has his own drama. Something happens between them, causing their souls to swap. The story then takes us on a journey where Aoi and Christian experience what the other person feels and sees the world differently.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The concept of the storyline was interesting. I had read books with the same frame of mind before, but it wasn’t a romance storyline. Since the ending wasn’t like I predicted, it gave me the impression that there might be a continuation to the storyline.

The pace of the story was steady, and the literature was well narrated. I would have appreciated more character development and more build-up on the character’s relationship. What did exist was still interesting to read and altogether provided an enjoyable experience. The cover design reflected the premise of the book.

I recommend this story to romance, love stories, and those who appreciate paranormal books.
