The Art and Science of Meditation by Lisa Erickson (Bok Review #926)

The art and science of meditation is a self-help book geared to help you deepen and personalize your practice. The author aims to overcome challenges and enhance human spirituality by integrating meditation techniques to create an ideal world for the reader. Scientific research has proven this technique, and although there are obstacles and triumphs in everyone’s life, we can divert and exercise a better way of living by practicing its methods.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I prominently enjoyed this book because it did not solely depend on modern and contemporary techniques. It also geared its methods by using history and sources that have proven to work in the past.

The literature is easy to read and understand. This mattered since sometimes the aim is to help the reader; however, the content is written to lose interest and just simply don’t understand what you are meant to do. I appreciate this notion that everything was well organized and well explained.

I recommend this book to anyone looking to better their lives, self-help readers, and those looking to meditate.
