To be enlightened is a fictional story written about Abe Levy, a professor of philosophy at a Southern California college, and Sara, his wife. Sarah wants nothing to do with Abe’s interest in meditation or his enlightenment journey.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I found the story to be thought-provoking. It is about the sacred bond of marriage and how many complications can occur from it. It explains how you and your partner can be different on so many levels, including spiritually. I particularly enjoyed the novel’s perspective work and view on life.

Transcendental Meditation and its principles are also another exciting matter discussed in this book. The author teaches the precepts of meditation and our consciousness.

I really liked the cover design and felt it was very suited to the subject matter. It is apparent that the author has given a lot of thought and care into creating the book.

I recommend this book to deep thinkers and those who like to read on spirituality and meditation.
