Illyia – The Feigned Moon of Entiria by E. A. Bagby (Book Review #1024)

Illyia is the second book of the feigned moon of Entria series. Having read book one, I knew what I was getting into. The story continued with Giels Deo wanting to be the Lead storyteller and kept overcoming many highs and lows. While he was heroic and the challenges he faced were intriguing to read, Deo just really wanted to be chosen for this essential role in his community.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The wonderful descriptive nature of the story enabled you to divulge into the landscape and envision the world built. The characters were absorbing, and the haunted places created the thrill for the reader to continue wanting to know more.

I believe the author has a particular skill in narrating the story, which makes you feel what the protagonist felt and think what was thought. I admired his writing and the entirety of the storytelling.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read fantasy/coming of age stories.
