180⁰ Chord is a mystery crime fiction story. The focus is mainly on Detective Sergeant John Gray, the hero of the police force convicted for murdering his wife out of rage. He is sent to the prison that he is familiar with many of the criminals inside. He put them there. His life and situation are harsh, and they aren’t going to make it easy for him. Gray has to grin and bear it, but things don’t end there.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Grays personality grows, and his situation changes as the story unfolds. He befriends Connor, who used to be a civil servant, and the dynamic of the story then changes scene by scene, creating an excellent read.

I found the story to be really enjoyable to read, and it kept me intrigued till the end. The pace of the story was steady. The content represents elements of retribution, depression, corruption and the notion of character growth. Rough scenes of violence and use of profanity are used throughout the book.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read crime fiction.
