Republic Falling by Michael J Brooks (Book Review #1242)

Republic falling is a hard science fiction book and the first of its series. It is book one of its series and begins with Randy joining the Commonwealth Defence Force in order to seek revenge for the death of his mother.

It was interesting to see how Randy dealt with losing his mother. The fact that he knew his father, Randy, was involved in the murder truly shaped the storyline. The concept is set in a universe where humans have migrated from Earth and are scattered, living on four planets.

Many foundational plotlines created detailed structural storylines that induced additional books in the series. There is a lot of science behind the premise of the story. I enjoyed reading this book and seeing how much Randy had to deal with.

I recommend this book to sci-fi readers and those who enjoy thrilling stories.
