Mixed Realities by Naomi Augustine (Book Review #1298)

Mixed Realities is a collection of science fiction stories filled with anthologies. Although it is a relaxing read, the premise keeps you intrigued and on edge. All 7 stories are about the universe and are thought-provoking.

I found the literature to be written well. The narrative, however, was different from the usual format you read. The descriptive writing, in particular, was different from the norm.

I predominantly enjoyed reading about Deneb, a 135-year-old woman who looks like 17 with powers no one has. I also enjoyed how each story was not predictable. If you aren’t an avid reader and have long reading sessions, then this is perfect for you.

I recommend this book to short story readers and thriller fans.
