Dreams of Arcadia by Brian Porter (Book Review #1484)

‘Dreams of Arcadia’ is a contemporary fiction story about Nate Holub. He is a divorced veterinarian who isn’t really having the best life he anticipated to have. Once he moves to DeLeon County, things change for him as he struggles to understand the real reason why his father’s accidental death wasn’t so much of an accident.

The author’s attempt to make this story to be mysterious and wanting has not failed. You are instantly bonded with Nate. His personality, character, personality and demeanour grab your attention. Almost like wanting him to succeed, you follow through his journey.

The literature is written well. It is nice to read about rural America and all that it possesses. The book cover is well thought out too. You can feel the author has thought everything through in making this story.

I recommend this book to mystery fans and those who enjoy veterinarian stories.
