Three Paradoxes Solved by Writing Novels by Freda Hansburg

Shrink Rapt was my first novel-writing effort, self-published before its new release in a revised edition, courtesy of Micro Publishing Media.  Completing it took eight years, my most arduous and gratifying accomplishment.  As a psychologist, I value life lessons, especially when they come in the form of paradox.  Slogging through to the finish taught me three vital things.

Restore her by Cheryl Lacey Donovan (Book Review #708)

Restore her is a 7-step healing process designed to renew yourself from what you deem to be a not-so-happy life. The author attempts to restore the reader’s identity, relationship, wealth, and fight self-doubt.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The book begins with the author explaining a little about herself and life. She then takes you on a 7-step journey addressing the fact that your body is a physical manifestation of you, but it does not define who you are.

The book is organized and is a self-help version of what you would need to heal, feel, and think to change things for the better. The literature is easy to read and to follow. The work is written with care. The author believes that relationships with family and friends influence and play a part in who we eventually become and helps deal with adverse outcomes and personal conflicts.

I would recommend this book to people who like self-reflecting material and enjoy working on bettering themselves in life.
