Infinitives
An infinitive is a verb phrase that almost always begins with ‘to’ and ends with a verb.
To have
To talk
To explore
Infinitives can be used as nouns, adjectives, or adverbs.
For example:
To dance was her greatest desire.
The way to act is through determination.
Here are some examples of some infinitive phrases:
To hope for a better tomorrow.
To forget all your fears
To walk into the sunset.
