Flyor Y Fuego by Bibiana Krall (Book Review #59)

The complexity of emotions that arise from being a woman can only be truly understood by another woman. Broken is the word you look for when someone you love tears your heart.

Flyor Fuego is a short story romance novel written about Flor. She has had a bad experience in her past relationship, Antonia, and that has transpired into a roller coaster of emotions, struggles and trust issues that are almost tainting her future.

The author has a unique trend in writing, which comes from her background in literature. Even though it was a short story, she still managed to add a twist and surprise at the end, which was pleasant. The character building was pleasing and made you care and want better things for Flor.

There was a hint of psychological references towards people that struggle with self-confidence and self-worth following a breakup. Also, how vulnerable they can be once the same person comes back into their lives the second or third time around trashing, even more, bits and pieces of their heart.

I recommend this book to anyone that likes a nice romantic novel.
