What goes down- the end of an eating disorder by Callie Bowld (Book Review #697)

What goes down is a self-help nutrition and story style natured book written about a woman who’s been struggling with bring eating, bulimia and other forms of eating disorders. She describes her struggles with food from the beginning.

The utter truthfulness of the author pouring out the reality of everything was refreshing. The author truly allows you to enter her mind and to understand how it is like and feels when you face this problem.

The book not only tells a story but also talks about how this problem has been resolved. The literature is easy to read and to understand. The author organized the chapters and information very well. Her style of writing allowed the reader to feel that she cared about letting you know that you’re not alone.

Anyone who is interested in reading about mental health, and substance abuse, or is struggling with their body image would find this book helpful. I would recommend it to them.
