No Man’s Land by Ben Magid (Book Review #976)

No man’s land is a dystopian fiction about Rebel, the last remaining human alive on planet earth. Her life is simply about survival and avoiding being hunted by androids. Her only hope and help is a Mech named Thomas, helping her and providing hope for a better day.

The premise is about a time where the world gets unliveable due to environmental and global crises. The conditions worsen and cause to extinguish humanity, leaving robots to take over and forcing people to flee the planet.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I particularly enjoyed the relationship and bond between Rebel and the Mech. Rebel had to make hard decisions throughout her journey, and it was easy to bond with her. I enjoyed having the lead protagonist as a female and thought the concept of her being the only surviving human to be unique.

I thought the book cover was well designed and presented. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I recommend this book to teen and young adult readers.
