Matters of Life and Death by Philip Stuckey (Book Review #1040)

Matters of life and death is a collection of stories filled with elements of horror, fantasy, personal experience and many matters of life and death. It has a little of everything for everyone. The stories are captivating and intriguing to read.

There is so much depth into the story that I found surprised with. I usually find short stories to be just that; however, I was pleasantly delighted with this book since the concept of life and death was discussed in various ways between the characters.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I particularly liked the afterlife of Jason Hardy. I enjoyed reading about his experience after death and how his perspective was different from what became his eternal place.

I didn’t get much of the book cover, but what existed inside was thought-provoking. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read short stories. In the authors, words “take a glimpse into the lives of others, and invite the readers to consider the true nature of our world and their place in it.”
