This story is a beautiful contemporary take on what love is and means. It also touches on self-discovery and soul-searching. Brie is this courageous, strong woman facing everything that is thrown at her. Daniela is a nurse finding her purpose and looks up to Brie. Olivier is a rescue pilot saving stranded people.
From the beginning of the story, the reader is captured into this dramatic ordeal. I liked that very much. The heroine of the story is also not just the focus of the tale; this allows the reader to also enjoy the teasing effects of the backstory and built up to when they are going to hear from Brie again. The Author does a fabulous job in researching and providing detailed information on certain matters she emphasizes in the tale.
Topics that are referenced in the book have substantial background information. This factor was refreshing and made the story more believable.
The character building and how they were all interconnected was also very nice. Harmony and support were apparent between some. Family meant something. The pace was a little slow but consisted of rich content.
Into the Vines carries hope and understanding. The Author has skilfully added her poetry style of writing into the whole tale increasing the touch of magic of which the book provides. Many things are happening in this book, and you do get voluntarily trapped in wanting to know what happens next. I loved the twist in the plot and also the ending.
I recommend this book to romance fiction lovers and look forward to reading more from this Author.
